Is anyone else watching this?  I'm not usually a reality show fan, and honestly I'm not a huge gun nut, but the way the show is structured is really entertaining and the final event in each episode is usually pretty cool.

For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a reality show based around historical weapons and shooting challenges.  There are two teams, the best part is the team that loses the main challenge has to choose two of their team members to compete in the final challenge to see who gets to stay and who goes home so it creates a lot of drama and tension.

It's on Sundays at 9, I'm sure you can find torrents, although if you just start watching this week you've only missed 5 eliminations (there are still 11 people left) and some cool shooting challenges.

I have been watching it the whole way through, and I considered it a guilty pleasure.  To me, every show is exactly the same.  Everyone walks to the range, Colby from survivor (unfortunately) tells them what they are going to use, target practice, competition, vote, practice for the two in the elimination, elimination.  I know most shows of this nature use a set routine, but this one seems particularly formulaic.  I would like to see more unconventional team competitions.

I do like that you only get booted off it you lose a head to head competition.  Someone on the imdb forums said they should have just let all of the 16 stay and have the competition broken down by points.  I do like that idea.

Also, Kelly is pretty fucking good at shooting things.

P.S. the show is also less interesting to watch, because just about everyone competing on that show is a logical human being.

I think if you did the points thing you would lose the little bit of drama involved...I like the competitions but I gotta say my favorite part of the show is after the competition where they all have their secret meetings and pick who's going to go to the elimination challenge and it's usually over some pissy bitch stuff that happened before the competition.

I did laugh at the "was she that bad" kelly comment.  Too soon?

So I'm watching it live this week, which means I'm watching commercials, and the geniuses at the History Channel show a promo for next week in the ad break before the elimination challenge.  So thanks to the History Channel for letting me know who won before I get to watch it.

Also apparently next week they're getting away with the teams and eliminating 5 people in a single episode.  Makes it seem like they didn't really plan out this whole competition thing and said, holy shit we gotta go from 16 people to 2 in 9 weeks and didn't have any idea how they were going to do it.
