From the Medal of Honor web site... The Medal of Honor beta for the Xbox 360 is delayed, but it is expected to be available next week. We are extremely disappointed about this, but want to assure you that we are dedicated and determined to delivering all of you this awesome multiplayer experience as soon as possible. However, we are excited to extend the beta to make up for lost time! The beta will continue as planned for the PlayStation 3 and PC. For these platforms, the beta starts on June 21st. However, players who own Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and have pre-ordered will be able to enter on June 17th. For anyone still looking to pre order and is lazy like me and wants to stay home they are offering free overnight shipping with the code MOHON at gamestop.com. If the beta is any good I will cancel it and pre order at the store anyway so I can get it at midnight.

The stuff I'm reading from the people in the PS3/PC beta aren't giving me much hope. I can handle the people saying it crashes, or there are occasional graphical bugs, because yeah it's a beta and beta !=demo. What I don't like hearing is that the hit detection sucks, the guns are underpowered, movement feels weird, and that the game is basically MW2 minus perks.
I'll still play the beta and give it a fair chance, but I have the sneaking suspicion that this preorder will be changed to Halo Reach.

Soooo by next week they didn't mean this week, they meant next week, which would have been the week after next.
Anyway the more I read about the game the more I'm thinking it won't be a buy for me. It's been described by several people, including Kotaku, as MW2 only with less perks and more camping.
I might just download it on the PS3 and post my own impressions.

Long time no been on this website and posted anything. Well good news, I have discovered an easy, no pre-order necessary, way of accessing the beta. How you ask? well ask the Dutch, or the Netherlands, its either one. It would help if you have google chrome, for i do and it asks to translate the website, which helps. So all you need to do is register to this website, its like and ign.com but in another language. Then log-in and click the bar that under the first paragraph that says "klik hier om een betacode te krijgen!". The code you get here then allows you to go to www.medalofhonor.com/beta and redeem the code to get your beta. I did it and it is hassle free and easy to do. Beta is pretty crazy and i reccomend getting it for you battlefield fans out there. Played for about an hour, first impressions:
-Frustrating. You will die a lot, especially at first.
-To get kills you either need a team that communicates (HAHAHAH) or you have to camp your ass off.
-It's difficult to get any sort of killstreak rewards, and when you do they feel underpowered.
-It's fun when you're doing good
Overall, based on just an hour of play mind you, I'm thinking this is a pretty mediocre mid-range shooter that isn't worth picking up at launch, especially with the crowded fall/winter release calendar.

Had a feeling it was going to be lackluster. The last few MoH games have been crap, airborne was just shit covered with more shit. With Fallout, Fable and Black ops this will get put on the wait list unless I am blown away when ever I get the beta on the xbox.

Just an indicator of how mediocre this game is: As of an hour ago there were a total of 800 people playing the beta on the PS3. I'm sure that they've had a ton of preorders for the PS3, far more than would explain only having 800 people online on a Sunday afternoon.
