I really don't think we will ever see gass prices drop to or below 1.50 again.  I think that this current price spike has shown what Americans can put up with...  and that it creates ungodly profit.  we will be lucky to start paying 2.50-3.00 once that shit gets going.

The dollar's value is tied to oil - that's just how it is.  Inflation, supply and demand are the three major factors in the cost of oil, and all we have seen is a stagnation in supply, and an increase in demand and inflation.

Attrition is a bitch, but that's what's happening with oil.
